Multimedia has it covered

Distance & Distributed Learning is the proud sponsor of the SwVCC student Multimedia Club.  Covering everything from radio and television to journalism and web design, the Multimedia Club gives students an opportunity to showcase their work prior to seeking professional positions in the media industry.

Imagine the possibilities...

Put your creativity to work and break into the exciting fields of Radio, Television, Journalism, Photography and Web Design with the SwVCC Multimedia Club.  If you are or want to be a creator of broadcast video,  audio programs, multimedia programs, games, literary creations, photography, internet design, graphic design or anything that qualifies as entertainment or education, then we have the perfect platform  to expand your creativity!

The SwVCC Multimedia Club exists to further all students in the understanding and implementation of real world multimedia projects as well as support club members in the discovery of their own personal skill sets.  The perfect extension to your academic career, from entry students to seasoned seniors, the club strives to showcase student talent and create    opportunities for student involvement, in a positive environment through shared knowledge, hands-on experience and student portfolio development and reviews.

The Multimedia Club meets during the activity period on Thursdays, 12:10-1:10 p.m. as designated by members.  Sign up now by sending an email with the word "subscribe" in the subject line to begin receiving notification emails regarding future club meetings and events.  For further information, please contact the club sponsor, Lanna Lumpkins at 276.964.7552 or at lanna.lumpkins@sw.edu.
