NUR 211 Second Level Nursing I ( 7- 8 CR)
Emphasizes complex nursing care of individuals,
families and/or groups in various stages of development who are experiencing
alterations related to their biopsychosocial needs. Uses all components of the
nursing process with increasing degrees of skill. Includes math computation
skills, basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care;
gastrointestinal, hepatic, cardiac/cardiovascular, oncological, and endocrine
disorders. Provides supervised learning experience in college nursing
laboratories and/or cooperating agencies.
Lecture 1-7 hours. Laboratory 3-21 hours. Total
9-22 hours per week.
